Bio-psycho-Spiritual Alchemy and Psychosynthesis of Humanity

On the occasion of the Summer School organized by the EPA (European Psychosynthesis Association) to celebrate the 100th anniversary of our movement, I will have the honor of presenting my work on the theme of bio-psycho-spiritual alchemy and the Psychosynthesis of humanity.

“It may seem risky to step into the wild within us and truly meet the instinct, the longing, the shadow, the brilliance, the unruly grace that refuses to be housebroken”. Yet it is far more dangerous not to.

The lack of regulation and transformation of instinctual and emotional energies — the raw material of inner Alchemy — lies at the heart of many of today’s crises: disconnection from oneself, addictions, and humanitarian and environmental tragedies. Roberto Assagioli recognized in this process of transmutation a key not only to individual growth, but also to the creation of a harmonious planetary organism, placing it at the very core of his vision.

Alchemy immediately grounds us in what is nature and natural — in those vital, pre-moral, “wild” energies which, when understood and integrated, become creative fire and inspired will, capable of elevating us to the luminous heights of the superconscious and the Self.

Psychosynthesis offers both a rich theoretical framework and effective practices to help us navigate this alchemical process, enabling us to avoid, on the one hand, the paralysis of impotence and, on the other, the illusion of omnipotence. It invites us into a transformative path toward awakening a broader, more compassionate, and creative consciousness — in service of life and of the Psychosynthesis of Humanity.

Through brief theoretical frameworks, experiential moments, and a co-creative approach, participants will gain a clear reference map and be invited to explore and share practical tools useful for themselves and for their work as mental health professionals.
